At Rose Hill Montessori, every day is a new opportunity for wonder, joy, and inspiration.

By instilling the early academic and life skills gained from a Montessori education and incorporating the progressive early childhood disciplines of Reggio Emilia and an emergent curriculum, we guide each child on their unique path to a life-long love of learning.

A rich Montessori and arts-based program for emergent learners!

We work on building confidence, fostering happiness, and developing strong social skills each and every day. We help children learn to express themselves, listen to others, work with peers, and problem solve… laying a strong foundation for success in school and life!

We grow!

With gentle guidance from our talented teachers we help children navigate social situations and become happy, independent, and compassionate members of a group.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. Our daughters have had the smoothest transition into being at school. As a parent, it's common to feel guilty leaving your kids to work or other responsibilities. Rose Hill rids that feeling, because you know you're leaving your child in the best hands. Besides teaching them how to be independent, how to use their motor and fine skills, emotional development and traditional educational curriculum - Craig, and all the Rose Hill family go above and beyond making our girls feel so loved, seen and heard. It's little details, like playing games with the children in the morning at drop off, introducing music through playing live instruments, and open communication throughout the day. Thank you, Rose Hill Family and Craig for all you do!

Keep their growing minds engaged

“As new parents, we were so nervous enrolling our little munchkin in daycare and we could not be happier at Rose Hill Montessori! Our daughter is now 2.5 years old and is just thriving. She wakes up every morning and can’t wait to go to school (even cries if she isn’t going in that day). They really focus on what her interests are (she loves arts/crafts) and being outside. As a bit of a control freak/worrier, there are no words to describe the peace of mind that I have when I drop her off every day. I know she is in a safe environment (outside spaces are very safe/secure from outsiders) and so well cared for. I am literally counting the days until I can enroll her baby sister!!”

“The most magical school!!”

— Lindsay B., mother of former Rose Hill Montessori student

“My shy pandemic toddler blossomed at Rose Hill. Only tears now are on weekends and holidays when she really wants to go to school but can't! I'll take it!”

— Mitt K., mother of current Rose Hill Montessori student

“Rose Hill Montessori is a wonderful school. Craig, the owner and director, has done an amazing job transforming the school into such a beautiful space. The teachers are very attentive, warm, creative, and fun. My son is having such a great time and happy to go to school every day. The school is very spacious, located on the 2nd floor, with a lot of windows and natural light. The art program is great. There are 2 huge private playground areas, which is a big plus and hard to find in NYC. The kids spend a lot of time playing outside. I am very happy I found the perfect school for my son.”

— Pantanin, mother of current Rose Hill Montessori student

“Very personalized care, supporting the growth and building on the strengths of each child. Ours has developed tremendously during the time at Rose Hill Montessori and enjoys the cognitive, artistic, and social activities. Warmly recommended.”

— Johannes, father of current Rose Hill Montessori student
